CONAHEC’s Student Exchange Program is designed for both undergraduate and graduate students, including students at the doctoral level. The program covers all academic disciplines as well as options for students interested in academic coursework and on-the-job training and/or experiential education abroad (internships).
The program is based on “tuition swaps” or tuition reciprocity agreements: students pay tuition to their home institution and not to the host institution. Program activities are coordinated by CONAHEC in conjunction with each institution’s study abroad, student exchange or international programs office.
CONAHEC’s Student Exchange Program is not a degree granting program; this program is designed for international study during a summer, a semester, or one full academic year. Through CONAHEC’s Student Exchange Program, students can attend any of the participating institutions located in a different country to where their home university is located.
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies joined this consortium in 2011 and began recruiting prospective CONASEP students from the Spring Semester 2012. If you are from one of CONASEP member institutions and are interested in applying, please visit the international office at your home university for more information and an application.
